Established in 1973, the Palmer Memorial Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the financial support of healthcare services in northeast Iowa. Today, the foundation’s mission is to fund the needs of our community that advance health and well-being. We do this with your support and our values at heart: compassion, support, generosity, growth and integrity.

About the course
Pleasant Valley Sports Club is a beautiful 9- hole golf course providing a complete country club experience from the moment you arrive until you finish your scorecard. To reserve a cart (paid separately), please call Pleasant Valley Sports Club at (563)423-7396.

Elgin's Music in the Park is hosted annually the 2nd Thursday in July and 2nd Thursday in August to raise funds for Elgin Homecoming, the Fire Department, and other community organizations!

Teddy Bear Clinic
Saturday, August 23, 8:30 –11 a.m.

Children ages 3-5 are invited to be doctors for a day at
West Union Hospital’s Teddy Bear Clinic. This fun-filled event features hands-on activities to teach your child about different medical exams and help take the fear out of visiting the doctor.

The 1896 Kimball Pipe Organ at the Union Sunday School will again grace an audience with its beautiful notes for the 45th annual Union Sunday School Concert Series. Montauk Historic Site, in partnership with the Clermont Historical Society, is excited to announce that Sally Boie will be returning to entertain guests at this month’s concert, with a program guaranteed to make you smile. Sally’s program is a mix of organ music, singing, and even accordion tunes!Following the concert, the Clermont Historical Society will provide refreshments at the Clermont Opera House – one block from the Union Sunday School.If you’ve never been to one of our concerts, come check it out! The annual Union Sunday School Concert Series features performances by trained musicians on the largest Kimball Pipe Organ in the United States. Built in 1896, the organ was a gift presented by former Iowa Gov. William Larrabee to his daughter, Anna, who was the church’s organist for more than 60 years.August 24th at 2:00 pm at the Union Sunday School in Clermont, Iowa.
