Serving lunch from 11 to 1 Maidrites, Pork Loin Sandwiches, HotDogs, Chili Dogs, Coleslaw, Baked Beans, Pie and Ice Cream.
Vendors, Games-Cake Walk, Ring Toss and more, Pony Rides and Petting Zoo, Quilt Raffle at 1:30pm. Come on out for some food and fun! All proceeds go to up keep of the church and cemetery.

The 1896 Kimball Pipe Organ at the Union Sunday School will again grace an audience with its beautiful notes for the 45th annual Union Sunday School Concert Series. October will be the final concert of the season with a performance by Hudson Lourenço-Feld.

Hudson Lourenço-Feld is a Brazilian native of São Paulo. He completed his bachelor's degree in organ at The Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil. In 2019, he earned a master’s degree at The University of Iowa. A professional organist, Hudson serves Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls, the First Congregational United Church of Christ of Waterloo, and Trinity Lutheran Church in Marshalltown.

The concert kicks off at 2:00 on Sunday, October 19th. Following the concert, the Clermont Historical Society will provide refreshments at the Clermont Opera House – one block from the Union Sunday School. The concert and reception are free!

If you’ve never been to one of our concerts, come check it out! The annual Union Sunday School Concert Series features performances by trained musicians on the largest Kimball Pipe Organ in the United States. Built in 1896, the organ was a gift presented by former Iowa Gov. William Larrabee to his daughter, Anna, who was the church’s organist for more than 60 years.

📍 LOCATION: Downtown West Union

Kick off the fun with a special performance by Just for Kix at 1:45 PM! 💃

Then, join us for an afternoon packed with exciting activities:

🎲 Fun games on the courthouse lawn
🌭 Delicious hotdogs
🚗 Creative and spooky trunks
🍬 Lots and lots of candy! 🍭

☔ RAIN DATE: The rain date for this event is October 26.

We are inviting local businesses, organizations, and individuals to help make this community event a success! Here’s how you can participate:

🚗 HOST A TRUNK: Decorate your vehicle and hand out candy! Trunks will be safely set up along East Elm Street. Please arrive for setup after 1:00 PM, with trunks ready by 2:00 PM sharp.

💰 DONATE: Monetary donations help support this event and other Chamber activities. You can also donate pre-packaged candy by dropping it off at the West Union Main Street Chamber office.

🙋‍♀️ VOLUNTEER: We are looking for volunteers to lend a hand on the day of the event.
